With reference to your letter dated 19th March last; respecting the erection of the Memorial of the Queen on the reclaimed land in front of the City Hall, I have the honour to acquaint that I have received from Mr Chan you tham, the invoice and tracings therein referred to, and I now submit for the consideration of the Jubilee Committee two Tracings, No. 1 showing the proposed foundations of the Memorial and No. 2 the steps and dais of the said Memorial.

I also submit seven tenders for the construction of the foundations, steps and dais for the Memorial and beg to recommend for acceptance, Isang Sins
